  3. today i was watching Frozen for the first time (my neighbour’s kids had kept singing the song so i thought i must check it) but almost at the ending, the trailer of Imitation Game came in and I didn’t know what to feel.
(by the way, i really recommend  to read “The Code Book" written by Simon Singh. It’s not all about Alan Turing, but you can learn a lot about those codes and Enigma)

  6. I’m visiting NYC for the first time this summer!
here is the plan I’ve made so far.
i’m staying in Brooklyn area for 10 days (alongside line L) but will go to city centre almost everyday
planning to buy the city pass and go everywhere it covers (Metropolitan Museum of Art is the place I’ve really wanted to go since I read “From the Mixed-up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweile" by E.L Konigsburg, when I was little)
i want to see the musical, Avenue Q, but won’t be able to afford…
and here are some Qs i would like to ask people who know the gigantic city well (please)
do you know any nice second-hand book shops and thrift shops? (when I was in England, I often visited Oxfam and other charity shops. I like digging into piles of clothes/books to find the only one). I really want to get some copies of “The Calvin and Hobbes” and “Matts”!! (I actually can find some of  ”The Calvin and…” even in my country, but,  not “Matts”! )
I want to visit the park, Eric Delahoy visited in the end of ep4 of The Unusuals  and take photos of the bridge on the exact spot where the swings were… do you know the exact location(what park is it?) and if the swings really exists?
are there any places where a nerdy person must go? (-like, well known films or TV series locations?)
Is there any fun events/meetings I might be able to join, during 12 to 20 Aug?
I might come up with more asks but so far, am overwhelmed by planning just some basic stuff (hotel and flight)… I am not good at planning and am not a born-traveler. I dwell in front of my PC.  haha.

  9. Numbers (16) Wrench (5)
at the library, they found a volunteer team. They teaches sign language for poor deaf kids, and now Wrench is a quite good speaker but Numbers is slow as he doesn’t really take the lessons. (he has to hang around with his bad friends most of his time).
